YES, I REMEMBER THE TIME WE HAD ON OUR SUZUKI DIRT BIKES ONE WEEKEND , DOWN IN FLATRIVER,MO..CRAZY SHIT, WISH I HAD A VIDEO TAPE ON THAT EXCURSION.. THATS WHEN WE WERE FLAT OUT CRAZY… AS WE GROW OLDER ME,YOU AND YOUR DAD ,AND WHO EVER IS WILLING TO FOLLOW STILL DO CRAZY STUFF.. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COUSIN TOM
I had a customer from Flat River yesterday and Andrea sold him a new ATV. We got to talking and he said they were getting ready to shut down the riding there (now called St Joseph) because of the EPA. The state of MO is fighting hard to keep the park open because of the recreational attraction and traffic produced. Lets keep our fingers crossed on this staying open—very cool place to ride. The suzuki incident pfershy refers to is this:
A monster hill we both attacked at wide open throttle. As you launched off the top rim after successfully climbing the sand hill you landed your front tire in this 4 foot deep washout ditch and you were propelled at extreme G-force into the handlebars with your knees and face first into the ditch wall. Of course Pfershy and I both crashed together just inches apart from each other and both laid there for some time moaning and praying that no body parts were broken. This event took place over 25 years ago and if memory serves me—I was on a RM370 and he was on a RM250. Way too much bike power for us dumb teenagers at the time.
