Zachary Ty Kosydor Spends 3 Nights In Hospital

Yes it sucked. 5 year old Zachary was released from Carbondale Memorial on Tuesday Morning. Guess where I spent my holiday weekend.

Zach had an asthma attack brought on by unknown. He began having breathing problems that started Friday night and by Saturday we became concerned and took him first to see the doctor at urgent care at the Carbondale Clinic. They checked him out and sent him home only to be rushed to the ER about an hour later early Saturday evening. The ER doctors immediately admitted him and moved him to pediatrics-floor 2.

He is doing fine now after his 3 day stay. He will be returning to school this morning. This was the first kind of incident like this with Zack.

The nurses, doctors and staff were wonderful at Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Many thanks to them for the great care Zack received. His Mom spent the entire time at the hospital during his stay and was given access to showers, guest trays of food and more. They both arrived home a little overloaded but are doing fine now.
